Do you find typos too frequently?

I am in highschool, and almost every day, at least one of my teachers gives us a handout that he/she typed up with some kind of a typo on it! Some of these typos are really bad and embarring, and I can't believe that my own teachers don't reread their work! One of my teachers last year admitted that spell check has ruined her. She will just let spell check correct her work, without checking to see if spell check is wrong! Maybe it's just me, because I am one to catch details, but I found this extremely aggravating. Also, I often find errors in newspapers, books, and magazines! I mean, people are paid just to edit work, and they miss these simple errors! I find it unbelieveable! Does anyone share my feelings on this issue?
