Similes and metaphors...can you help me make some...?

I need to make metaphors for friendship, forst, sadness, dry leaves, night, new snow, anger and memories......And then I need to make similes for laughter, a face, the mountains, as honest as, as bright as, the moon, weeds, and a crowd....thank so much for your help! im horrible of thinking of good ones, rather than cheesy ones!!
