Trigonometry, please help!?

If AD is a bisector, then that means the angle CAD is going to be the same as angle BAD. so BAD is 20. if BAD is 20, the length of line BD is tan20=L/24. (L is the line BD). Now, you know that angle CAB is 40, so you do tan40=l/24 (l=line CD). once you get those two answers, you do l-L and you get x
