How do i say sorry? please help!!!!!!!!!?

im in seventh grade and at recess my friends were talking about a club called the cool kids club. so when we were coming inside i asked one of my friends if he was in that club and he told me it ment the KKK (I mean no disrespect im just trying to tell the story the real way) and went and told another person (one of his friends who was white ). Then the other person told kevin (african american) and told him i was being disrespectful to black people. so then he got really mad and walked away(he has a six pack).So i went straight to the vice princible and told him what happend. he talked to them and now the half the school thinks im racist and i dont know what to do please help me and tell me what to do
