How does this quote justify society's views on woman and virginity?

I do find this quote est in a way but let me see if I can explain it for you. I'm sure you realize that Key= Man Lock=Girl. Now the first part, "A key that can open many locks is a valuable key" that is referring to a guy being able to with a lot of girls. "but a lock that can be opened by many keys is a useless lock." That is referring to a girl having with a lot of men. I'm near positive whoever stated this quote was not very intelligent and took a fair beating for it if this is a famous quote. You would be the lock because guys seem to think it's good to get with as many girls as possible. As for girls most try to keep their legs closed. So a girl that doesn't would be an outcast to most.
