I have a 94 plymouth voyager and was told I need a different . I need to do this cheap. Ideas?

You didn't say if you had a 3.0 lt. engine or a 3.3/3.8. The 3.0 had an option of a regular 3 speed auto or the 41 te auto trany. The 3.3/3.8 only came out with the 41te. If you have a 3.0 and the trany is a 3 speed the problem isn't to complicated. You can swap it from a salvage yard. Otherwise you would be better of going to a Chrysler/Dodge dealer to get it fixed. And by the way, There are no new 41te tranys. It will have to be re-man. The re-man tho are as good as a new one would be.
