Why do Christians claim that Hitler was an atheist?

True christian faith is one where the devotee reflects Christ characters in all situations.we all know christ was meek,gentle and harmless till the point of death.he even prayed for his ailants and revilers on the cruel cross.his teaching was that of absolute peace and reconciliation-not war,greed,cruelty,ination,murder,g… etc that are what Hitler stood for.true christians do not kill for wealth,position or territory.he looks towards heaven for his citicenship.Hitler was everything but a follower of christ period.
