BOY PROBLEM boy problem BOY PROBLEM boy problem! PLEASE HELP!? :(?

i know for a fact this guy likes me and that he knows i like him. his friends keep telling me he talks about me. abut we dont know each other/talk to each other/see each other that much because we're both shy & also have no cles together. he's y/confident around other ppl, but when i p by him it looks like he doesnt even notice i'm right by him and I ALWAYS HAVE TO BE THE ONE TO WAVE HI. and when he waves back it looks like he just wants to get away from me ASAP or hes scared/confused. at first i thought it was cause he didnt like me back. but lately his friends tell me he's shy and "trust me you should just ask him out" but how can i ask a guy out that wont even talk to me??? sometimes it seems like he IS shy and wont talk to me. and then sometimes its like he either doesnt care im next to him or doesnt even know. whats the deal????!
